The Geography of Blondes

Blonde hair is made due to low levels of pigment eumelanin. The blonde hair results in a visible hue which depends on many different things including yellow under tones. This colour varies from very light blonde to a red toned blonde colour. On the fischer -saller scale, blonde is under the range of the colour A to 0 (dark to light)


The word "blonde" means :  the colour midway between golden and light chestnut


This term soon rephrased to the word "fair" as it was shorter and easier to say.


Light hair colours mostly originated from Europe

How to dye your own hair blonde

Nowadays, many people skip the salon process and go straight to D.I.Y hair dye kits. This is because going to a salon doesn't only cost a lot but also takes time to go and go through the whole process of "dyeing". Many companies and brands sell hair dye kits. These are cheap, easy to use and efficient. Usually people who have darker hair will struggle to get the lightest shade of blonde but it is possible to do so. If your hair is dark to begin with, your hair must be bleached to completely change the colour of your hair giving the blonde a good, clean slate. Brown hair usually turns a orange/blonde colour but as good and easy as this process sounds, it does ruin your hair. Bleaching your hair dries it, breaks the split ends and over all if not done properly, will ruin your hair. But if done properly, the outcomes can be great and a lot cheaper. Different Shades of Blonde

In general, There is not just one shade of blonde. On average, there are around 24-42 different shades of blonde depending on whether you are particular or not. Platinum Blonde: This is the lightest blonde shade and is not often natural. Most people would dye their hair this shade. 2.
