Different Shades of Blonde

In general, There is not just one shade of blonde.

On average, there are around 24-42 different shades of blonde depending on whether you are particular or not.

When people think of blonde, this is usually the colour that comes to mind:

When actually there are many other colours under the name blonde then just this typical colour.

1. Platinum Blonde: This is the lightest blonde shade and is not often natural. Most people would dye their hair this shade.

2. Ashy Blonde: Ash blonde is another shade of light blonde but with more of a grey undertone. This is also not a very natural shade of blonde but can be easily dyed.

3. Natural Blonde: This is the shade of the photo I have attached. This is the most typical, natural blonde colour.

4. Strawberry Blonde: This shade is a mixture between ginger and blonde but when mixed the two colours turn a red/pink shade, also known as strawberry.

5. Dirty Blonde: This shade is more fair than blonde and falls between the two stools of being blonde and brown. Many people happen to be this colour and are unsure of whether they are blonde or not but usually end up saying they are blonde.
